🪩 MEET THE TEAM! 🪩 Kdo se skriva za vsemi našimi tečaji, plesnimi večeri, objavami in drugimi swing podvigi? 🤔 Aleš – predsednik in učitelj. Naše lepilo, ki drži vse skupaj in poskrbi, da je vedno vse zapisano na tablici.👨‍💻
Tina – njegova desna roka, tajnica in učiteljica. Skrbi, da se stvari, ki jih Aleš začne, tudi dejansko zgodijo. 😉
Tjaž – učitelj in nepogrešljiv del naše plesne ekipe. See you on the dance floor! 💃

The “DTK Dev Kit” packaging is a minimalist cardboard system designed around the needs of the product and its users. A matte white exterior represents a blank canvas ready for coding, contrasting with Orqa’s signature red interior, which guides the unboxing experience and highlights the drone’s components. A red tear strip opens the box to reveal a detachable origami structure that securely holds the main parts, while side pockets organise additional components. Custom icons support navigation throughout the packaging. The system also incorporates the “DTK APB” box within the main package, creating a modular “box within a box” experience that reflects the considered structure of the entire product system. — Year 2026 — Collaborators Darko Bošnjak (packaging development) Nina Budić (graphic design) — Client Orqa See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September Academy of Fine Arts #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “Fizzi” is Nutricook’s new soda maker brand, combining a fresh, energetic identity with a clever logo based on the “fi” ligature. The “f” represents the device and the “i” the bottle, with the dot becoming a bubble during interaction. A clean visual system and vivid colours communicate technology, ease of use and the fruit-inspired experience of making sparkling drinks at home. — Year 2025 — Collaborators Jurica Koletić (art director) Jelena Rebrnjak (designer) Lucijan Bakula (animator) Ivan Topić (account management) Ivan Fistrić (brand strategist) — Client Nutricook See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September Academy of Fine Arts #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “Journey into My Soul” reinterprets Vesna Parun’s poetry as a tactile typographic experience spread across eleven postcards. The poem is fragmented, stripped of punctuation and capitalisation, and reshaped through carefully controlled letters, spacing and silence. Each postcard works independently, while bringing all eleven together gradually reconstructs the complete poem, transforming the postcard into a medium for experiencing poetry. — Year 2026 — Mentor Katja Milković, PhD,

The visual identity for Rijeka’s Health Education programme translates key themes of health literacy into a clear and engaging graphic system for primary school students. Four symbols representing nutrition, mental health, addiction prevention and sexuality form the basis of the logo, patterns and chapter markers. Illustrated handbooks combine vivid colours, playful graphics and rounded typography to make complex topics accessible and engaging across different age groups. — Year 2024 — Collaborators Maja Sevšek (project manager) Lea Sevšek (designer) Tamara Sokolić Misirača (design and layout) Irena Mikac Adamović (production) — Client Michel studio City of Rijeka See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September Academy of Fine Arts #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “Be-for-Sex” is a packaging concept that combines hygiene, intimacy and emotional care in a compact kit for spontaneous intimate moments. Designed as a folded sheet that opens into “before” and “after” sections, it includes essential products alongside discreet prompts encouraging self-awareness and reflection. Made primarily from recycled cardboard, the packaging securely holds its contents, transforms into a waste container after use and extends into digital support through a QR code. — Year 2026 — Mentor Mia Klemenčić, Full Professor (mentor) — Institution RIT Croatia College of Applied Sciences, New Media and Design See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September Academy of Fine Arts #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb The “Rea Olive Oil” label translates the landscape of its Dalmatian olive grove into a contemporary typographic identity. Inspired by the contrast between monumental architecture, dry-stone terraces and cultivated land, the design avoids conventional olive motifs in favour of a raw, reduced aesthetic. A bold landscape-inspired colour gradient contrasts with restrained typography, balancing tradition and modernity, rawness and refinement. — Year 2025 — Collaborators Siniša Sudar (creative director) Žana Mrša (art director) Eva Bakrač (junior motion designer) Bojan Matoš (photo

The visual identity for “ŠIZZ Smash Burger Bar” captures the energy of street food culture through a playful, spontaneous graphic system. Inspired by the pressure and controlled chaos of making smash burgers, the identity combines hand-drawn illustrations, black ink textures, spray details and bold graphic interventions. The system extends into the physical space, connecting the food, atmosphere and younger audience of the Šibenik venue. — Year 2025 — Client Šizz Smash Burger Bar See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September  Academy of Fine Arts  #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb The visual identity for the 16th Summer Nights of EXIT Theatre explores theatre as a space where reality and fiction meet. Red curtains become the central motif, symbolising anticipation, mystery and the act of revealing and concealing. Hung on a clothesline, they transform an ordinary summer urban scene into an improvised stage, suggesting that theatre can happen anywhere – from courtyards and streets to parks. — Year 2025 — Collaborators Bruketa& Helena Hlišć (junior designer) Antonia Šikljan (copywriter) Ijan Prelac (junior designer) Ivana Momčilović (art director) Davor Bruketa (creative director) Karla Jurič (project manager) Željka Tročak (DTP operator) Radovan Radičević (head of DTP) Teatar Exit Matko Raguž (artistic director) Tajana Grbić (organisation and marketing) — Client Teatar Exit See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September  Academy of Fine Arts  #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “So-called Book” translates film director Nedžad Begović’s collection of stories and anecdotes into a nostalgic cinematic object. The book’s cover is designed to resemble a vintage VHS cassette, while its slipcase draws on retro VHS packaging. By connecting the publication’s content with the visual language and physicality of analogue media, the project transforms a book into a cinematic artefact rooted in memory and nostalgia. — Year 2026 — Collaborator Tarik Čelik (visual concept) — Client Nedžad Begović See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 Sept

“Solfeggio Obscuro” is a visual identity for an underground music event, developed around an atmosphere that is darker, rawer and deliberately restrained. Movement forms the foundation of the aesthetic, with rhythm, transitions and flow shaping the visual language. A custom technical typeface and a minimal use of colour complete the identity, balancing an industrial character with a subtle sense of warmth.  — Year 2025 — Collaborators Jurica Koletić (art director, motion designer) Andrej Virant Sadiković (creative director)  See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September  Academy of Fine Arts  #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “Myrtus” is a natural cosmetics brand inspired by the landscape and botanical heritage of Gorski Kotar, combining traditional herbal knowledge with a contemporary approach to skincare. Its visual identity centres on personalisation, expressed through the “my” prefix, organic custom typography and illustrations of Mount Klek. Natural tones and botanical-inspired colours distinguish each product line while maintaining a coherent, understated identity rooted in authenticity, quality and trust.  — Year 2025 — Client MWS  See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September  Academy of Fine Arts  #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb The “JGL Group Integrated Annual Report 2024” translates values of togetherness, authenticity, responsibility and sustainability into a tactile editorial object. Its exposed spine, hand-sewn with multicoloured threads, becomes a metaphor for individual people forming a harmonious whole, contrasted with a restrained white cover and handwritten platinum-foil title. A precise interior grid and delicate line illustrations extend the visual language, balancing craftsmanship with editorial clarity.  — Year 2025 — Client JGL See the ZGDW AWARD finalists exhibition at Zagreb Design Week 15—20 September  Academy of Fine Arts  #ZGDW #ZGDW2026 #ZGDWAWARD #designaward #VisitZagreb “Nalí” is a limited-edition sparkling wine within Dobra Berba’s Piena line, created for an audience that values quality without formality.
