Thank you Poppie Bob for coming to my sporting events, driving me to orthodontist appointments, teaching me how to be a good man, and showing me how to show up for those you love. I’ll keep you with me forever. ❤️

Taipei Story is a novel that has grown on me over time. A story that highlights the importance of making mistakes and being a dumb kid. It allowed me to reevaluate my relationship with my grandfather and consider who he was as a person. I wish I had known him in all moments of his life.

Lost Weekend by @phoebebridgers has made me analyze my relationship with my own parents and shown me how grateful I am for their love and support. Highly recommend a listen through in a dark room with wine in hand and a box of tissues nearby.

Finlay Donovan is one of the best characters I have ever read and if @ellecosimano doesn’t write her for the rest of my life I don’t know what I’ll do.

Synopsis: Finlay Donovan is a struggling novelist and newly single mother. When a meeting with her agent goes awry, Finlay ends up with a letter from the woman at the table next to her requesting that Finlay get’s rid of the woman’s husband for $50,000. What follows is absolute lovely chaos.

Review: This book (along with the sequel) blew me away. Finlay is an EXTREMELY relatable character, who anyone could find a part of themself in. The shenanigans of the book had me laughing out loud while also feverishly flipping the pages to find out what happened next. My mother and I read this together and are both DYING for the third book. Get it? Dying? Lol. If you have not picked this one up yet, please run don’t walk to your nearest bookstore. You will not be disappointed.
