💥 BIRRIA TACOS NIGHT 💥 Took @woodfiredfeaster epic birria recipe, with melt-in-your-mouth short ribs from @roastmutton_cumbria , piled high into homemade corn tortillas… with fluffy Mexican rice, blistered padrón peppers, and a rich, soul-warming consomé for dipping. 🌮🔥 with a side of homemade tortilla chips and dips.huge thanks to @taste_with_tom for the corn tortilla recipe 💡 Wife’s twist? She went rogue with shop-bought flour tortillas — because apparently not everyone’s on the corn train. So Sunday nights tea was this cracking porterhouse from @honeywellfarmshop cooked to a perfect medium rare accompanied by some hispi cabbage(cheers to @charredfoodco for the method of doing it) as well as hassleback potatoes and the new rubs from @smokeandflameuk the mighty cowboy butter and the delicious chimichuri. All cooked on @weberuk using @meatermade.uk to keep an eye on the internal temps, cooked over @globaltic_uk birch charcoal. Big shout out to @joes_bbq_shack and @bbqslaya for arranging a @stpierreuk burger comp last week There were 10 fantastic, dirty, filthy, schexy burgers submitted by some great cooks and the competition was won by @maslenssmokingdrum 👏👏👏 Competition aside, there were some great chats and laughs. What a great bunch of cooks to go up against. After an exciting weekend of cooking and the Euros final we now have all the completed cooks. Some fantastic looking food here as is to be expected from these unbelievable chefs. Now for the best part the voting to find our grand champion. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Have a good scroll through the pictures and see what cook really tickles your fancy. Chefs name and a short description of the cook is on each picture. To vote you will need to go to the comments section and hit the like button next to where I've posted the chefs name. Only likes on their name will count as votes, no comments will be counted. For more information on each cook please follow the tag on the picture to each chef's profile and watch their reel.
