Imagine walking down a path in complete darkness with nothing but a headlamp.

You can see what’s directly in front of you.

You’re avoiding obstacles, taking one step at a time, and making progress.

But here’s the question:

Are you actually heading in the right direction?

That’s how a lot of people approach their fitness journey.

They’re exercising, eating better, and putting in the effort.

But they’re hoping those efforts will eventually get them where they want to be.

Now imagine hearing someone in the distance say:

“Over here! This is the way!”

That’s the value of having a coach.

Someone who can help you find the right path, avoid unnecessary setbacks, and keep moving toward your goals.

A coach can’t take the steps for you.

But they can help make sure the steps you’re taking are moving you in the right direction.

Working hard is important. Knowing what you’re working toward and how to get there is even better.

One of the best things you can hear as someone's strength coach!

The odds are stacked against Mary. With a family history of osteoporosis and being postmenopausal, seriously, bone health is a real concern.

But after nearly two years of consistent strength training, she shared some incredible news! Her bone density is up 5%!

Please share Mary's story with those you feel need to hear it. Success leaves clues. Let's share them!

Some causes of feeling tired show up within 24 hours: too much caffeine, a skipped meal, not enough water, one bad night of sleep.

Some take 2–3 days. Alcohol can drag down your sleep, your mood, and your training for up to 72 hours. A big training week can too.

And some build so slowly you start calling it “normal.” Chronic short sleep, constant travel, under-eating. A lot of us blame it on age.

Once you can link the feeling to its cause, you can stop guessing and start fixing.

Andrew and I break down how to read your body’s signals in this week’s Beast Over Burden. Link in bio, or wherever you listen. 🎧

Rankling lifts. Good > Better > Best

My top choices for the core of a program will be those that we can incrementally load, and use many muscle groups.

I have used all of these variations in programs for specificity, working around injures, travel, equipment limitations and progressions. But the best always have an important place.

Your career needs you. Your family needs you. Everyone wants a piece of your time.

But what about the person you're going to be 10, 20, or 30 years from now?

That person is counting on the decisions you're making today.

You don't need to overhaul your entire life. You just need to stop putting yourself at the bottom of the list.

Your future self is counting on you.

If you don't know where to start and already read this far, DM or comment "FUTURE ME" below 🙌 we got you!

I’ve coached a lot of people. The ones who are still lifting years later aren’t the most regimented.

They’re the ones who stopped treating food like something to pay off, workouts like a punishment, and their bodies like the enemy.

They got curious instead. They’re kind to themselves. And they just worked on getting a little stronger.

🍷💪🏼

You’ll want your sound on for this one 🔥

Lewis came to me pretty strong already, but we had to work on the start of his pull off the floor to the slack out of the bar and maintain the right position for each rep. He’s done a really good job and he’s got more to go!

How can you not feel hyped after watching this?!

Lifting isn't selfish. It's self-care.

I've had the privilege of coaching Mara through over 410 workouts since August 2025, and we're still getting stronger!

As a working mother of two, Mara proves that strength is built through consistency, patience, and making time for yourself.

Getting stronger shouldn't mean putting your life on hold.

Another PR earned! Proud of you, Mara!

Busy dads, you can’t have it all. Losing weight is about trade-offs. You pick what matters most.

Want the apple pie? Fine. Have a smaller slice. Or skip it today and have it tomorrow.

But here’s the truth. Most days, you stick with the plan. That’s how the weight comes off.

Small choices. Every day. They add up.

Not “for your age.” Not “for a girl.” Not “still pretty good.” Actually strong. Maybe the strongest you’ve ever been.

Don’t give up on your body. It’s full of potential!
