It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this group of people right here ❤️

People ask me all the time what the “secret” is.
Most are expecting something about systems, margins, scaling or whatever the current playbook says matters most.

Truth is, I don’t think there’s a “secret.”
At least not the kind people expect.

If I’m being honest, I never imagined I’d be here.
And the fact we’re now talking about expansion… building something even bigger, is absolutely wild to me.

But when I look at this group, everything makes perfect sense.

You see it in how they show up every day.
In how much they care about the people in front of them.
In the standard they refuse to let slip.

They didn’t just build a gym.
We’ve built something people feel the second they walk through the door.

And that’s the only “answer” I have.

I’ve always believed in people over profits.
No system or strategy built this…just people who care more than they have to.

Treat people like the amazing humans they are.
Actually care and invest into their growth.

Everything else… at least in my opinion seems to take care of itself.

People first. Always.

We were so showered 🩵 Baby you are already greatly loved, so many people can’t wait to meet you.

Alex and I are beyond grateful to those that helped celebrate our sweet growing family 🦋

A massive massive massive THANK YOU to my mama @rhondalsmart and best girlies @alyoung620 and @barbellsnballroom for throwing the most amazing thoughtful shower. We are so so appreciative for all that yall did 🤍🤍🤍 It was perfect.

🤍 B U D D Y 🤍
On 1/26/25 we had to put our sweet Buddy Boy to rest. We inherited Buddy and his sister Sissy from Trent’s grandparents after they passed, and we have had them around 7-ish years now. They have always been the sweetest pair of pups! 🐶💕🐶

About two weeks before we had to put him down, Buddy’s bladder ruptured, and was caught in time (at the Vet’s) to perform an emergency surgery. He was actually recovering from that really well, but became anemic, and the steroid used to treat his anemia somehow pushed him into congestive heart failure. Unfortunately the meds that would be used to treat the CHF were going to compete with the meds he would need for his kidneys, and if he survived further treatment, his quality of life would have been in question. So we made the decision we thought would be kindest for Buddy and were able to be there with him at the end. 💔

Buddy was such a sweet little dude, we miss him.

• 8/24/24 - Dad’s Memorial At Sea •

We had Dad’s memorial service back in August, he wanted to be scattered at sea off the coast of his long time home, Long Beach, CA. It was a gorgeous day on the water with family. 🤍

Dad was hilarious, often with an off-color sense of humor, as seen in the poem he etched onto one of his patio wine glasses…

“When I die
Just cremate me
And spread my ashes out to sea
But when you go in the water
Please don’t pee
Just splash a little red wine
For me”

We managed to pull off all four requests. 🥰😂
