✨ Meet Fran: The Seville Collector Who Sees Barbie as History in Miniature ✨ Mini-Interview No.116 — On Time Capsules, Restoration, and Freedom Without Pressure 🎀 For Fran, Barbie was never about perfection — it was about change. A collector doll spotted in a department store window became the doorway into a world where fashion, history, and art all intersect in miniature. Meet Fran Benítez (@barbie_collectorb), a Barbie collector based in Seville, Spain 🇪🇸. From falling in love with a Vera Wang bride doll to collecting museum-level pieces like Mark Ryden’s Barbie Bee, Fran’s archive moves between vintage history, quiet restoration, and creative reinvention. “Barbie isn’t just a doll — she’s history in miniature. ‘Barbie can be anything’ gives you the doll and the mental space to imagine yourself in 150 different roles. It’s freedom without pressure.” 📖 Read the full interview on Substack (Link in bio! 🔗) https://livingwiththethingsyouluv.substack.com/p/meet-fran-the-seville-collector-who #BarbieCollector #VintageBarbie #DollCollector #adultcollector #BarbieRestoration
