What an absolute honour it was to be the photographer for the ZCNSW Yom Ha’Atzmaut Family Carnival! 🇮🇱🎉
The day was packed with energy, colour, and so many smiling faces – the turnout was incredible! Massive shoutout to Events With Ease and her amazing team (including Easy Lightning) for pulling off such a vibrant and seamless event.
There was something for everyone – from the adorable animal zoo and fun face painting for the kids, to engaging school booths and strong presence from our incredible youth movements.
A real highlight of the day was the Hackathon run in collaboration with Technion Australia – so great to see young minds innovating in such a creative space. And of course, the talented school bands from Moriah and Masada, and the beautiful choir performance by Emanuel School truly lit up the atmosphere. 🎶
Let’s not forget the energy of the Israeli dancing with Keff Sydney – such an infectious vibe that had everyone moving! 💃🕺
Huge thanks to the entire community who came together and helped make this celebration one to remember. So grateful to have captured these moments!

School holidays meant my lucky daughters, niece and nephews got to come visit me at Guide Dogs where I supervise the Low Vision Clinic for UNSW Optometry Clinic.
They finally got to meet @nancy_theretiredguidedog who I talk about so much! They learnt all about when to say hi to a Guide Dog and when to leave them alone while they are in harness and working. We also looked at the special low-vision devices like talking-measuring jugs and special iPads that read out text to the user. Was a special day! Thanks to their amazing grandmother @shelleyevian for bringing them in after the clients had all gone home! And of course our thanks to @guide_dogs_nsw, @guidedogsaustralia, @nancy_theretiredguidedog and Anne and lovely Sandra for teaching the kids about Guide Dogs! #lowvision #optometry #specialneedsoptometry #lowvisionoptometrist #kidsoptometrist
