My last Bare Bones showcase with some amazing people who have been a part of the best four years of my life.

Starting from my first piece, Hypoxia, freshman year with these stars that made me feel so whole and brought so many laughs and wonderful memories in the studios. Love to @yebbasmith for My Mind, a song that got me through a rough time in life, and just all of her ethereal music💫

this one was def one for the books. coming from the bbdt board side this year i have immense pride in the team im apart of and the group that i choreographed. i have loved this process of putting the show together and i have loved creating on the most amazing cast ever. my humps will forever be iconic and held so dear and close to my heart. i love u all so so so very much, thank you for all the opportunities, love, and support i have been shown and given this bare bones year ❤️🐪

There are no words to describe how much this process has meant to me. As my first choreographic project in my college career, I am so grateful to have been able to create this work. This piece aims to embrace everything new I have learned from dance while keeping ballet close to my heart. I aimed to show a side to ballet dancers that is usually shut down, a fierce, cunt, and confident side.

To my dancers, I am so incredibly proud of each of you. You all have inspired me, and taught me so much. Thank you for giving me your energy and care to this piece, and I will hold each of you in my heart. Youre all so fierce and sexy ily 🫶. And as always thanks to @barebonesdt for giving me this space to create, this organization will always hold a special place in my heart.

Tear in My Heart 💔❤️‍🩹❤️

This piece was created with the intention to emulate the freedom and rebellion layered within this song. We wanted this to be an absolute campy and wild ride, still rooted in our deep interest with musicality, texture, and characterization. We are so grateful to have shown our work collaboratively twice and have closed this amazing showcase as well.

We can’t even begin to express how incredibly special this cast of artists are. Your hard work and energy every week is uplifting and inspiring for the both of us, and we thank you for the dedication behind the process. This piece and the family created from it remind us both why we love to do what we do. We hope you are just as fulfilled as we were making this. Our hearts may by torn now, but we love each and every one of you so so SO much. You make your mamas so proud!
