On this week’s episode of “Drysuit Projects”: Neck Dam Installation.

Today, we are installing a neck dam on a @baresports drysuit. When this suit was ordered by the owner, a @si_tech_ab Orust neck ring was installed, but no warmer was added to cover up the ring or neck seal, leaving them exposed. This suit was sent to us for adding pockets, and (you guessed it) cutting off the boots and changing them to trilaminate socks. 😂😆👍🏻 While here, the owner asked if we could also install a new neck dam. Adding one of these is usually best done before a neck ring system is installed, because it is normally sewn directly to the suit. So as you can imagine, adding one after the fact poses a complicated challenge. Nevertheless! As you can see, success. 💪🏻😎
