@barglue 🍹in Liverpool is now my favourite bar in the UK.
I tried the WINE cocktail 🍷, a complete surprise.
Went with a friend but my solo rating (how comfortable it would be for someone to go alone) for it would be 4.8/5 ✨✨✨.
The red lighting inside really stands out along with the offbeat lamps and tables 🛋️. Also the bar is nestled in a spacious, freestanding area 👾.

Liverpool takes London — SLOW GLUE — tonight!

Tonight from 6pm, two of Liverpool’s finest join forces as @slowpour.bar and @barglue take over Seed Library for one night only.

Behind the bar, Slowpour founders Carey and Caitlin join Bar Glue’s Chris for a meeting of two bars from Up North — sharing great drinks, thoughtful hospitality, strong communities, and a determination to put Liverpool’s cocktail scene firmly on the map.

They’ll be bringing a little bit of both bars to Shoreditch, and, naturally, some very tasty drinks.

SLOW GLUE — tonight from 6pm.

There are plenty of ways to get to know a city.
Sitting at its bars is a pretty good place to start.

Every city has its own customs: what it drinks, what it eats alongside it, what it listens to and how it gathers after dark.

For five nights, five international bars bring their local customs to Okupa Kitchen & Listening Bar.

Liverpool takes London — October 18th, meet your hosts!

One week from today, @slowpour.bar and @barglue join forces for one night only, bringing SLOW GLUE to Shoreditch. Next up, meet Bar Glue — and Chris, who joined the team last year from Cantina OK! and is heading down from Liverpool for the occasion.

Tucked into a quiet corner of Liverpool’s iconic Albert Dock, Bar Glue is built around community, inclusivity, casual but engaging service, and exceptional drinks — all delivered without taking itself too seriously.

Bar Glue earned a spot on the UK Top 50 Bars 2025 list within two months of opening, rising to #2 in 2026. They were also named a Regional Honouree for Best New International Cocktail Bar at the 2025 Spirited Awards and took home Best New Cocktail Bar at the Class Bar Awards.

Since opening, they’ve welcomed some of the world’s best bars and bartenders to Liverpool, while taking Bar Glue around the globe — from Athens and Bangkok to Chicago, Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and plenty more, proudly flying the flag for Liverpool along the way.

Stick together, pals!

SLOW GLUE — October 18th from 6pm — bookings at the link in bio.
