A great day for a Walk with Willa 🐾 Part 1! So thankful for our 1 year anniversary last weekend @barleyjeansbakery! Thank you for all the support and continuing to try our amazing baked goods and sharing the ❤️ Rate update….its not great. However there is still opportunity for buyers who truly want a home. More seller concessions, home price cuts, and buy downs too! Rate outlook…end the “war” and the rates will come down. It would be nice to have some help for hard working people who literally struggle daily with buying anything. It’s a wild wild west we live in friends so love on each other and find the positives every day! Here always! #anniversary #bakedgoodness #endthewar #rateupdate #brokersarebetter

Sometimes the best chapters begin when you’re brave enough to turn the page. For 16 years, Melissa and Mark poured their hearts into education as teachers and coaches. But after years of giving so much of themselves, they knew it was time for something new. So they took a leap of faith—leaving their careers in Colorado, moving their family across the country, and starting over in North Carolina. And believe it or not, @barleyjeansbakery started with beer grain and dog treats. 🍺🐾 During COVID, Mark was brewing beer when Melissa had an idea: instead of throwing away the spent grain, why not turn it into dog treats? That small idea grew. Dog treats became bread. Bread became farmers’ markets. Farmers’ markets eventually led them to Downtown Concord, where @barleyjeansbakery now calls @thedistrict.exchange home. Today, Melissa and Mark are serving up fresh sourdough, focaccia, cookies, granola and more—all while building the kind of place where customers feel less like customers and more like family. Their journey is proof that sometimes the dream doesn’t happen exactly how you imagined it—it grows, shifts, and rises into something even sweeter. 🥖🍞 Next time you’re Downtown, stop by Barley Jeans Bakery and taste a little piece of their story. Be sure to stop by and celebrate with them as they celebrate their One-Year Anniversary in Downtown Concord on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM - 6 PM. They will have specials, merch, and prizes. 🎉🎉👏👏 📍Located inside of @thedistrict.exchange (1st floor) 📍22 Union Street North #FeatureFriday #DowntownConcord #HarmonyOnUnion

CONCORD… WOW. ❤️🍔 We honestly don’t even know where to begin. To everyone in Downtown Concord who came out for our Grand Opening, THANK YOU! The welcome we received was absolutely incredible. The excitement, the support, the long lines, the kind words, and all the love you showed us was overwhelming in the best possible way. 🥹❤️ Opening a second Bae’s Burgers has been a huge journey for us, and seeing so many of you show up and welcome us into the Concord community made every bit of hard work worth it. And we have to give a HUGE shoutout to our new Concord Burger Crew! 🍔🔥 They SHOWED UP. For a brand-new crew to handle such an amazing first week the way they did makes us incredibly proud. They worked hard, stayed together, and brought the Bae’s energy from day one. We had an AMAZING first week, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who helped make it happen. Downtown Concord, thank you for welcoming Bae’s Burgers with open arms. ❤️ We’re officially here, and we’re just getting started! 🍔🔥 Much love, Concord! — The Bae’s Burgers Family ❤️🍔 #BaesBurgers #DowntownConcord #ConcordNC #GrandOpening #BurgerCrew SmashBurgers ConcordEats SupportLocal
