Some experiences are worth more than a trophy.

Pawan may not have taken home the prize, but he won something just as special- the hearts of each and every person who experienced his creation. And for us, that’s the highest honour of all. ❤️

At the ABD Bar Maestro Finals, he brought Celestial Rain to life- his interpretation of that beautiful moment when a storm breaks and the first raindrops touch the earth.

An earthy, in-house liqueur made with black cardamom, vetiver roots and cacao nibs, activated charcoal, glittered soda, Rangeela Vodka and a finishing touch of petrichor mist which also he created from scratch.

A little bit of magic, bottled. ✨

Raising the bar for Indian mixology! 🍸✨
Bar Maestro 2026, launched by ABD Maestro in collaboration with Tulleeho, brought the country’s finest cocktail talent to center stage.

Across 7 cities—from Mumbai and Pune to Bengaluru and Goa—over 350 bartenders pushed the limits of craft, flavor, and storytelling using Woodburns Whisky, Zoya Gin, and Rangeela Vodka. From hyper-local highballs to an elemental grand finale at IFBE Mumbai, it wasn't just a competition—it was a showcase of where Indian bar culture is heading.

Cheers to the innovators redefining the craft behind the stick! 🥃🔥

We drank. We laughed. We danced. We judged. 🍸🕺🏆

A competition, a room full of bartenders, and plenty of moments worth remembering.

Great cocktails, great company, and a whole lot of fun along the way.

Bar Maestro, this one was a good one. 🥂✨

Give nineteen bars the same three bottles and watch what happens. 🍸

That's the premise of @barmaestro_, @abdmaestro_ debut cocktail challenge with @tulleeho: every bar working with the same three Indian spirits, @woodburnswhisky, @zoyagin.life, and @rangeelavodka, and made three cocktails each. 🙌

I spent four days judging for Round 2 across Gurgaon along with the legendary @sandy.barwizard, and it has been an impressive experience. In total, we tried 57 drinks in all, and the most interesting part was never who did it best... that was the challenge, of course and we already have two strong candidates representing Gurgaon on the national level (so I'm definitely rooting for them). But for me the most important takeaway during the entire experience was how differently nineteen bars read the same brief. ✨

And a few things stood out.

Indigenous ingredients did the heavy lifting. Satkara from the Northeast at AM PM, Himalayan timur at Marieta, bathua at Comorin and Miss Margarita, Andhra avakaya and Guntur chilli at Bombay Brasserie, and jamun almost everywhere. And not just for showcase via a garnish, these ingredients were built into cordials, brines and ferments. 🌿

Technique was quietly everywhere too. Not just clarification and fat-washing, but lacto-fermentation, making ice cream out of jamun pulp, sustainability perspective, and more. 🧪

And the best drinks knew when to stop. Bombay Brasserie's Guntur 75 came together in about a minute and was one of my favourites of the week. Comorin's Fork Not Required, a bajra-and-bathua "meal in a glass," was the one I went back for a second time. C&D's Monsoon Ember, with its lacto-fermented jamun and jamun ice cream-stuffed golgappa is absolutely unforgettable. 😍

Same three bottles. Nineteen completely different answers. 👉

Swipe through all of them, cocktail names and ingredients are on every slide. In fact, I also want to highlight how catchy or wacky some of the cocktail names were! 😉

Which one would you order first? 💬 Save this for your next Gurgaon crawl. 🥃

Some events are about the competition.
Some are about everything that happens around it. 🍸

Great cocktails. Great conversations. Amazing stories.

A day spent around people who understand the craft, appreciate the details, and keep pushing the bar higher. 🏆✨
