BEANS FULL MUSIC VIDEO 🫘

Enjoy this gem of an edit by our very own @smoof92 💚 with masterful recording and mixing by the legend @jasperlyonsproducer 🧙‍♂️

It’s a silly video but this song really means a lot to us, the NHS has saved us and our families countless times throughout our lives and it is absolutely criminal how little public sector workers are paid for theur incredibly stressful and difficult work. All the love 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️👩‍🏫👨‍🏫⚕️

It’s been one hell of a year for us in CHUB!

Doing our biggest tour yet, travelling the length of the country starting in Scotland and working our way back down south to Brighton!

Our tour was a ton of fun! We met so many lovely people, played in some fantastic venues and gigged with some incredibly talented bands!

Homegrown was a hell of a day, we’re so proud to be part of the Brighton scene, so many amazing bands across so many iconic venues! Big love to the CHUBblies cramming onto the stairs and into the hallway for a sweaty mosh

Rebellion Festival was hectic, so sick to play the Casbah after making our festival debut on the RIS stage, it meant so much to us! And Steve smashed his first set depping us, in spite of the pressure

Sarcoma Fest means even more now with the tragic passing of an absolute legend, Colin Tyler. What a beautiful community, and for such a good cause. The vibes here were immaculate- here’s hoping it continues in tribute to Colin!

This year we released 2 songs, Microwave Dave remake which brought our arguably most popular song into the modern day chubbosphere alongside our most cursed music video yet which to this date was the funniest night of filming of our lives!

Then we released our self titled CHUB with a music video from highlights from the tour! Filmed in venues across the country and includes some of the best music fans you hold ever ask for!

Throughout all this we were planning a festival! CHUBstock happened and with the help of @eastbournemusic it blossomed into something bigger than we ever imagined! What a great day it was, showcasing some of Sussex’s best bands and proving the EMC truly is massive!

Finally we want to thank 3 amazing musicians @ioverthoughtthiseb @steve.collier @seanmknifebride who depped for us throughout the year! Without these talented individuals we wouldn’t have been able to play some of the biggest shows of the year! Thank you!

Thank you so much for such an amazing year and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

THAT’S A WRAP! With one last show tonight in Brighton, we’ve managed to traverse the treacherous land of the UK!

Starting in Scotland and working our way back down the country we managed to do a nice blend of site seeing and gig playing!

Edinburgh > Glasgow > Liverpool > Manchester > York > Birmingham > London > Eastbourne > Brighton!!!

Nine shows, hundreds of wonderful people met, thousands of miles driven and millions of wonderful memories made!

Thank you to everyone who came down to see @chubtheband play some tunes, we really are blessed to have such a lovely fans!

This tour also wouldn’t be possible without the incredibly talented @steve.collier so go give him and his bands @blessedburdenuk and @believeinnothing_noise some love and support!!

Vlog is coming very soon so keep an eye out for it!!

First track ‘Quit’ with @chubtheband is out and it fucking rules. You should go listen.

Then you should go see it live at one of these dates:
- 31st July @thepipelinebar
- @bloodstockopenair
- 29th Aug @bellreigate

I believe the only way to get good at something is to do it a lot, which is why i'm off to produce and release 100 songs asap (playlist in bio). This is track no. 13/100! If you want to get involved here’s some info:

1. I’m £150/d currently.

2. It can take anywhere from 1-3 days to do a 3ish minute song:
- 1 day if we use programmed drums & amp simulators - this is great for demos.
- 2 days if we do live drums, they take a whole day baby. If we’re using amp simulators we can get the rest done in a day.
- 3 days if we do live drums and guitars. Lets afford these things the time they deserve.

3. I usually work out of @badhabiteastbourne.

4. Editing and mixing is included. If we need more than 2/3 alterations to a mix then we’ll probably need to talk about money again.

DM me and let’s get to work.

A little to know about working with me:

1. We’re a team and our work represents me as much as much as it represents you.
2. I’m not just trying to capture your live sound, I want to elevate it using the full potential of the studio. Whether it’s crushing riffs or beautiful soundscapes, lets make some fucking art.
3. I need to love what I work on and I want you to sound the best you possibly can, so I need to work with people who are open to feedback and can learn to trust me.

FAQ:

Why don’t you do live recordings? - Because it’s not what i’m trying to get good at right now.
Why can’t we do a song in 1 day with live drums? - I did this in the beginning but the 14 hour days were killing my love for recording so I won’t do them any more.
