We’re excited to announce the launch of Interpretations VI, an experimental exhibition exploring the possibilities of carbon fibre.

Interpretations is an ongoing exhibition series curated by Vert Design, held every two years. Each instalment brings together local design pioneers to explore a particular material or manufacturing process, celebrating the adaptability, creativity and continued relevance of industrial design.

For this sixth instalment, we’re showcasing work by a talented group of designers pushing the boundaries of carbon fibre through experimentation, material exploration and unexpected applications.

Curated by Vert Design (Andrew Simpson, Caity Duffus and Eloise Cleary)

Exhibition from Friday 16th - Monday 19th October 2026.

We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition!

Holding Breath
From The Care of Things
A photographic collage exploring medical materials, bodily forms and the unexpected beauty of things associated with care and treatment. Holding Breath combines a strong monochromatic image with a quiet architectural presence, allowing it to sit comfortably within contemporary interiors whilst bringing a conceptual dimension to the space.
Shown here is a series of imagined interiors, the work is particularly suited to environments where art, architecture, wellbeing and ideas of care intersect

I’ve spent the last several years continuing to work quietly in the studio, developing a practice concerned with images, memory, fragmentation and the strange ways photographs carry traces of lived experience.
My work begins with photographic material but rarely remains a straightforward photograph.

One of the things I love about working at a larger scale is the way an image begins to occupy the space around it.
The work becomes less like something you simply look at and more like something you encounter physically.
