Twelve courses featuring two hot, two cold, eight nigiri, with an amuse to open and a dessert to close. Every one arrives pairing and its own song, because we couldn’t see why a pairing should stop at the glass. Baron’s pouring imports alongside his own labels.

Twelve seats a night is the whole room, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!

The first Vintner’s Circle dinner is in the books.

A few weeks ago, our founding members gathered at Appellation Healdsburg for the inaugural dinner in a series we’ve been building toward. @chefcharliepalmer opened the room. @chefbellec cooked. And the community that will shape this circle for years to come sat down at the table together for the first time.

This is what we imagined the Vintner’s Circle would be. A room of people who care about wine, food, and place, gathered by a shared appetite for what Sonoma County does best.

It certainly FELT like the best ever, from the spectacular weather to the always glorious mountains to spending time with people like @aliciatownsfranken @junerodil @catherinemiles @baronziegler @iamreginaking @jillagram09 and so many more, burger pairing seminars and chefs vs somms smackdowns (a tie!), meals at @ellinaaspen and elsewhere, late nights at @thelittlenell drinking wine, whew. My god I’m tired. But thrilled. On to next year!!! @foodandwine #fwclassic #aspen
