Lace up, South Seattle! 🏃‍♂️💨

The Sunday routine is locked in. @barrel_maker is back to host the Chuck’s Seward Park Run Club this Sunday, November 1st, for our monthly 4.2-mile loop! We start at the shop, head down to crush the beautiful Seward Park waterfront loop with the best lakeside views, and finish right back at Chuck’s for the ultimate reward—post-run brews, burgers, and NA options! 🍔🍻

We will also have @southendrunningexchange outside! They’re a mobile running shop based here in our community.

It’s a shame how movement, as adults, became a performance.

PR talk.
Pace flexing.
Sub-4-hour marathons or nothing.

But that’s not why I move.

I move for joy.
I move to feel again.
To be in my body, not escape it.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a quarter mile or six.
If you move every day you’ll become quieter, calmer, more stoic.
Not because of the distance…
But because of the discipline.

This is not performance.
This is practice.
This is presence.
