No one really prepares you for everything that comes after you open the doors.

I wear way more hats than I ever imagined, and honestly, teaching class is sometimes the easiest part. There’s always something happening behind the scenes ~ planning, scheduling, solving problems when they come up, managing the team, and figuring out what needs my attention first.

I’ve also learned that growth can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. But some of the best parts are also the simplest ~ a full class, celebrating a client milestone, or hearing that barre has become part of someone’s routine.🤍

Teaching barre has given me so much more than I ever expected.

One of the most meaningful parts of owning Barre with Brooke is getting to pour what I’ve learned into future instructors. I want them to learn more than how to lead a great workout. I want them to cue with confidence, move with intention, and create the welcoming experience that makes our studio so special.

I’ve grown so much as an instructor since I first started teaching. That confidence didn’t happen overnight ~ it came from teaching lots of classes, learning along the way, and finding my voice as an instructor. I love that I now get to help others do the same.

There’s a lot of prep before instructor training begins, but seeing someone grow into a confident instructor makes it all worth it.

Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as an instructor, both from leading the room and being a client.

I’m still learning, growing, and finding new ways to better support the women I have the privilege of teaching. 🤍

Vacation mode, but make it barre ✨
No equipment needed ~ save this quick leg burner for your next trip.

Try each move for 30-45 seconds per side, then repeat the sequence 2–3 times. 🌊

You don’t have to be a dancer to love Barre. You don’t even have to live near a studio.

Grab a chair, cue up the class, and let the barre come to you. Our partner studios meet clients wherever they are, from in-studio classes to virtual certification programs and on-demand libraries, livestreams, and postnatal sessions.

Different studios. Different communities. One platform powering them all.
