Drop-off wasn’t just another day.

Artists arrived carrying more than paintings — they brought years of practice, devotion, and a lifetime of seeing the desert in color.

Hands that have been painting for decades entrusted their work to us for Fiesta de Colores, an exhibition celebrating local artists. This show is about color not as decoration, but as a lived relationship.

Curated by Karyn Holyk, the exhibition honors artists who listen to color, follow it, and let it guide their work. You can feel the passion in the room, even before the pieces are on the walls.

✨ Featuring works by:

The yoga room here at the inn has the ability to transform to be whatever you dream up: a space for tarot readings, sound baths, tea ceremonies, acupuncture, and thai massage. Yoga & meditation up here are pretty dreamy too while overlooking a forest of Saguaros. 🌵✨(first image by @margaretaustin_photo) #jthtucson

I received the message in April, “Summer, are you still interested in being a surrogate mother?” And there was no part that was doubtful, so i said “you just brightened my day! I would love to!”
💜
The 3 months prior i had been working deeply with life coaches and healers because i felt that this year was meant to bring me into my highest self in preparation for something big. I had no idea what it was but i knew i wanted my mind and spirit to be the healthiest ever. 💜
The process is progressing quicker than everyone involved thought. Last Monday i thought I’d have 2-3 months of hormone injections as preparation. However, I asked the Dr not to put me on birth control(for convenience in timing my menstual cycle) because i purposely have not used bc in 18 years because i hated how it changed my moods and my connection with my body. Well turns out my body is wise and ready because the embryo transfer is in just 11days (Aug 29). 💜
Besides my daily health and centering practices I’ve been going to weekly acupuncture and utilizing these two beautiful #essentialoil blends.
@wombyncollective’s female hormonal blend specifically to bring harmony to the endocrine system.
@barriobodywork Created a blend to support me in emotional healing, self-trust, self-love, courage and spiritual clarity. 💜
I am excited for this journey and so grateful for the opportunity.

I always feel the same after a Market. Like I’m actually part of a community; and we’re ✨ vibing ✨
For the last 6years I have been living half of each year in a community, with a group of people, out of civilization. Minimal to no electricity, no television, sleeping in a tent next to the earth, with 15-40 other people. When I come back to the city to live, back into the hustle and bustle, my energy needs a lot of time to adjust to say the least. I feel overwhelmed and notice how separated we all are.
After time has passed and I get reacquainted with modern life again, I readjust, but I always have this lingering calling.... To live more simplistically and have authentic connections. When I do Markets it provides me that time to connect. I have an outlet of creativity that people can come to and it’s fantastic. I love making books but it’s really just a vessel for me. A vessel for something I want more. Which is to connect to others, grow internally, socially, and to get out of all my limiting personal boxes. This is my juice. My curiousity, and seeing where the energetic tides take me.

I have to give the biggest SALUTE, CHEER, KISSES to TUCSON for its warmth and openness to me. I’m amazed at the people who are either from here or gravitate to this location. I’m also enthralled at the potential creative growth that is happening; for me I just hope it keeps it’s big city, small town vibe and continues to look after each other.
Thanks again for an amazing show! Here’s to more and never feel bashful to spark up a conversation with me. Let’s connect ✨✨
