POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our tour is finishing off this week at 1pm on Sunday September 20th at @vailmountainschool. We started in Eagle County -and will finish here- and are honored to share it with our up-valley brethren. 🥰 Adam’s work was felt all over the county, from Xcel Energy PIE grants in Minturn, to Level III fast chargers at future park & rides. 🚍 The guy was making miracles happen every day for some project or another. 🧙 Let’s see if we can get a couple of the current projects to the finish line while we lean into a healthier community for the next generation.☀️ Please learn the lyrics to the VMS Ranger’s fight song in advance of the show and be prepared to do Abusi Theater proud with your vocals. 🎶 Then join us afterwards for a group ride to the village to share some cheer @avanti_vail for Adam’s Birthday! 🎂 🚲 Shift Bikes will be demo’ing free e-bikes for the first 15-20 to sign ups. 🤩 And don’t forget our panel, “Matt Scherr and Friends” to close down the tour with some final words about Adam and his impact. 💪🔌🔋

Ride the Vail Bus with Barry of Vail Town Council! We chat with a local bus rider about why he chooses the free Town of Vail bus over driving his car and how service this summer is even better than ever.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the first Community Picnic of the summer! We love this summer tradition of coming together over a picnic lunch with fellow community members. We also loved seeing the pieces you created to add to Pat Milbery's Heart of the Games piece, a 60th birthday gift to the town.

See you at the next Community Picnic on July 14 at Bighorn Park! A group of people in a dining hall are selecting food from an assortment of baked goods on a large tray. Some individuals are wearing bright high-visibility clothing, while others are dressed casually. The background features wooden beams and chandeliers. The atmosphere is relaxed and communal.

Summer parking kicks off tomorrow!

It’s free if you exit in the first hour then $2 per hour, maxing out at $10 per transaction and free at Vail Village and Lionshead if you enter after 3 p.m. and leave before 4 a.m.

If you had a parking pass this winter – great news! You get pass benefits throughout the summer, including free parking if you exit under three hours. After that, the Local Pass is just $1 per hour with a max of $5 per transaction.

Don’t forget – when you carpool in for summer concerts at The Amp, cars with 4 or more people get free event parking in Ford Park and the Soccer Lot! See the qualifying event schedule at vail.gov/eventparking

Vail Town Council Agenda Afternoon & Evening Meeting Agenda. There is a lot included in the consent agenda including several contract award for various town projects. Maybe the most interesting to the public would the summer parking rates recommendation from Public Works to Town Council.

Got something to say that’s not on the agenda? Public Participation opens at 6pm.

Last week Timber Ridge Village celebrated the placement of the final modular! With Building A already open, the six remaining buildings are coming online throughout 2026. That means 302 residences for locals in the Town of Vail!

With our car share program, Zipcar, kicking off this week plus increased transit coming this summer, lots of big things are underway to ensure that our greatest asset, our people, can live, work and play here in Vail.
