A little fun with a lot of meaning:
We never want to become so focused on the work that we forget to enjoy the people we get to do it with. ❤️

Mic’d up again… apparently we didn’t learn the first time 🎤😂

3RM day with the sprinters + hurdlers.
Sprinters → Front Squat
Hurdlers → Back Squat

You’ll hear me say INTENT about 100x — because load means nothing if we lose the quality behind it. Position, bracing, depth & how we produce force still matter when it gets heavy.

The squat variations are intentional too… not because one lift magically makes you faster, but because we’re using the weight room to develop the strength + positions that complement what each group is being asked to do on the track.

One of my favorite parts of this year has been collaborating with our Head Track & Field Coach @kpadin24 and Sprints/Hurdles Coach @thatscoach_jd / @coach Conley. Understanding what they’re coaching on the track allows us to be intentional about what we reinforce in the weight room.

The goal was never to make better weightlifters.

It’s to help them do THEIR sport more efficiently. 🤝🏼💥

Ahhhh women in sports 👏🏼👏🏼🙂‍↕️

Who decided to mic me up is still questionable… 😂🎤

3 programs moving at once in our track & field sessions, a little chaos, a lot of intent & apparently me reminding runners they should know how to pelvic tilt 😂

But seriously… pelvic awareness matters. Running isn’t about locking your pelvis into one “perfect” position; it’s having the ability to control it while you move, produce force & maintain good positions.

You can’t control a position you can’t feel. 🤝🏼
