Which conference is actually fastest?

Using SwimIntel’s Impact Rating (based on A-final / 8th place prelim times), the Sunshine State Conference leads Division II women's swimming with GLVC and GLIAC coming in second and third.

Analysis:
Even though it only had seven teams competing at last season's conference championships, it was more difficult to make an A-Final in the Sunshine State Conference than several D1 conferences.

I’m incredibly excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Barry University. I want to thank my family for their constant support and for always believing in me, along with my teammates who have been there throughout my swimming journey. I’m especially grateful to all my coaches who have helped me develop along the way, and to Coach Noah for giving me this incredible opportunity. I’m also thankful to God and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I can’t wait to get to work. Go Bucs!

Last week I had the opportunity to be back as a temporary assistant coach for the @barryuswim team at the Sunshine State Conference 2026.

So many new faces, and so good seeing familiar ones too. I witnessed incredible swims, nonstop cheering, and a team that never stopped supporting one another. Even when the days got long and everyone was exhausted, the energy and spirit never faded. In just one week, I formed great connections with everyone like I had been part of the journey all season.

We also had a special surprise visit from our alum @miloszmencel who came out to support the team always great to see Barry family showing love!

Huge shoutout to our three seniors @mj_clean1 @robintatar @ethena.conzemius — thank you for everything you’ve given to this program and for representing Barry so well. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter after graduation! 🎉

So proud of this team and already excited to see what next season brings. 💙
