Introducing Bartender Series #5 with @Shiv.l.

From London’s LAB to Venue Manager at Disco Pantera, Shiv’s career has moved through some of the city’s best bars, events and brands before landing in Sydney.

At Disco Pantera, he uses music as the starting point for his drinks, translating rhythm, mood and energy into flavour.

For Bartender Series #5, Shiv brings that same approach to Table Manners.

One night only, Monday 2nd November. Book via link in bio.

Had a ridiculously overdue catch up with @jpowell_in_oz tonight at the always good @bartigra Great to see him and talk about all the shit whilst drinking a few nice drinks (Jonathan went onto the cocktails which came with mini disco balls!🪩) and some tasty plates (which I took some really bad photos of so not posting here). Next time we won’t wait as long for the next catch up 🤪 #catchingupwithfriends #workfriends #talkingshit #drinking #eating

From the street, @bartigra doesn’t give much away.

Then you go upstairs and it opens into a huge space. Warm, welcoming, and built for connection. A great list of Corovin wines, and a Marantz sound system bolted to the wall.

When a venue cares that much about how it sounds, you can be confident they care about everything else too.

That’s exactly what @rosspurnell and @gordonpurnell have created. A venue that’s unassuming on the surface, but with serious quality running through every detail underneath.

It’s a rare combination, because most places show you everything they are from the street.

The reward is worth every step of the stairs.

And that’s why I love it.

We’re stoked to have landed at number 3 for this year’s @boothbydrinks Best Bars NSW award.

An honour to be here alongside so many of the industry's greats. Thanks to everyone who's enjoyed a drink with us so far — here's to many more. 🥂

One address, twice the fun.

Dual concept spaces are on the rise, so we’ve taken a deeper look at the functionality, and the appeal.

In this case, more is definitely more.
