The past few days have stretched me in ways I don’t even have words for.

God brought me to Psalm 131 — to quiet my heart when it felt too loud, to stop trying to understand things that are too heavy for me. I’m learning to trust, even when I don’t understand.

But what I didn’t fully say is how hard that actually was.

There were moments my mind wouldn’t slow down. Moments I felt frozen. Moments I wanted to be strong but felt so incredibly fragile. Planning my mom’s send-off wasn’t just logistics — it was love, memory, grief, and pressure all at once. Every detail mattered because she mattered.

And in the middle of that weight… my team here in Jamaica held me up.

A big, heartfelt thank you to my cousin LISA for putting everything together for my mom here in Jamaica 🇯🇲. I truly could not have done this without you.

My cousin Nickey I love you my baby, thanks for a great service. Thanks for answering the calling of God.

@evg._dr._taneishashaw_ thank you for the powerful word two days in a row. You poured into us and showed up for Mummy in such a special way.

@bartleyshazz thank you for coming all the way from England to be there. That meant more to me than I can explain.

@mich19710 thank you for taking the time to come and stand with me. Your presence truly meant so much.

And to everyone who helped make this send-off so beautiful — thank you for your hands, your time, and your love. It truly meant more than words can say.

You helped me give my mom a farewell filled with dignity, softness, and peace. You helped create an atmosphere that reflected who she was — grace, warmth, and love. You made beauty out of something that felt unbearable. You helped turn one of the hardest days of my life into something beautiful.

In the middle of trusting God spiritually, He covered me practically — through you.

And I will never forget that.

Grief reveals everything. It shows where you’re fragile and who truly shows up. I am deeply, deeply grateful for the ones who stood with me.

Mommy… I hope we made you proud. Rest peacefully, surrounded by love, now and always. 🤍
