It’s still birthday month, and I still can’t get over one of the best mornings of July! A few months ago, I made one of the best decisions I’ve ever made… to choose me.

What started as a commitment to improve my health has become so much more than a wellness journey. It’s been about healing, rebuilding my confidence, learning to listen to my body, and discovering that true wellness isn’t about being perfect, but about showing up for yourself.

Hosting my Wellness Birthday Morning was my way of celebrating not just another year of life, but the woman I’ve become through this journey.

I wanted to create a space where I could openly share my experiences, the lessons I’ve learned, and some of the products and brands that have genuinely assisted me along the way. If even one person walked away feeling inspired to take that first step towards themselves, then my heart is full.

Mad love to @basecamp_gym_ for hosting us, literally my 2nd home through my wellness journey 🫶🏾

A huge thank you to my incredible sponsors for believing in my vision and helping make this morning so special:
@beautygen_sa
@welliam_sa
@quinton_southafrica
@rushtush
@proteinfactoryza
@feelsilki
@wisersupplements
@muraadfredericks MumuJuice
Cozy Crumbs Bakery

Your generosity and support helped create an experience that was nourishing from the inside out.

Could not have done the morning without @bespokebody the time, love and knowledge you shared with us will forever remain in our hearts and minds, and I know some of the ladies are still “feeling the burn” 😝 Thank you Oona 💖

To every lady who attended, thank you for trusting me with your time, your energy, and your stories.
Wellness is so much more powerful when we do it together.

Thank you to @querenciacreationsco for capturing our special moments 💖 📸

Parental guidance!!! 🚨 Children- please DO NOT watch till the end.

Hamlet’s To be, or not to be…

My take on the challenge in the @youreawesomecommunity with @alanpowell10 . The challenge was: to say the lines while doing something else.

We had 3 hours to create this from scratch and the other players had no idea until we did it.
Sound is horrible, we didn’t have a mic but - it was a crazy concept of doing the Hamlet while fighting which was brought to life by the amazing @willemsevernon . We shot this in a gap in the day in a public hallway of a building with active movement and so we had to cut and and and... you get it!

I’d love your thoughts for those who can watch.

A Note of Gratitude to the fam in the community…
I need to take a second to talk about the comments on this so far. I have been completely blown away.
Reading words like “I could not stop watching” and “Obsessed” is something l’ve never experienced directed toward my work before.
To be completely honest, I have never been so deeply engaged in a community in my entire life. The timing of this group coming into my life hits on a profound level. For the last few weeks, I’ve been traveling extensively, busy beyond measure, and living out of a bag in a hotel room in a city I’m still getting familiar with. Being away from my home, my wife, and my kids is never easy. But touching base with this community every day, learning growing and pushing each other has brought a strange, beautiful sense of familiarity.

Thank you all for the incredible support, the high-level critiques, and for making a hotel room feel a whole lot less lonely. 🔥 🫵🏽 You’re Awesome.

A reminder for the hard days:
You do not need to have it all together to keep moving forward.

The lock of motivation doesn’t make you weak, lazy, or unsuccessful. It makes you human.
And the fact that you still choose to show up? That’s growth!That’s strength! That’s effort!
From Me to Me and whoever else needs to hear this today, *Keep Pushing*

Sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone is just what you need as that extra bit of push!
But I’m showing up anyway, trusting that the results will speak for themselves one day but today I’m definitely feeling the burn 🔥 😅 #selfcare #fyp #fitnessinthemaking #explorepage #itstartstoday
