If you love medieval architecture, Ghent in Belgium is a banquet for the eyes. On its historic streets, you find yourself surrounded by incredible buildings everywhere you turn. It’s earned its nickname, “medieval manhattan”. 🏰

What to see:
- Gravensteen Castle
- The Belfry of Ghent
- Saint Bavo’s Cathedral
- Saint Nicholas’s Church
- Guild houses along the Graslei and Korenlei quays
- @1898ghent for a historic hotel

Photocred to my husband, @bash.yams for most of these. So glad one of us is gifted with a camera!

Time to say goodbye to our little slice of Culver City. John and I fought hard for the space (nearly) 10 years ago. It's been home to so many and so much. Covid changed everything, but our remote workflow and momentum is now too strong to be tethered to a physical location.

What can be said about 2025…well it was for sure an adventure filled with many challenges far and wide. Although It was filled with opportunity, behind the scenes, it oozed with painful shedding, reflection, dismantling, learning/unlearning, deep healing and growth. I felt like I had to take a step back and process, and coming out from my burrowing, I’ve been transformed and renewed in many aspects, maybe a bit angrier, and I know there are many of you have or are feeling the same way, as we learn a new way to exist and operate within the noise.

As they say, pressure makes diamonds, and damn 2025 gave me a whole new level of resilience, especially when shifting from chaos to the reminder of core values and what matters like community which provided me a glimmer of hope, and the reminder to keep fighting the good fight, my incredible friendships, cuddles from my precious furbabies, and @xjonnyxgravesx , thank you for being an escapist with me and create new memories in 7 countries, it was truly an adventurous year!

What has also grounded me through the muck of these uncertain times have been each and every one of you who were there along the ride, who gave me trust with your bodies and stories, or even supported me in some capacity through likes and shares. Thank you for giving me a sense of connection and freedom (in what seemingly feels like a grim world), and pushing my potential. And to every tattooer and studio I’ve connected with, especially the ones who invited and opened their doors for me. I wouldn’t be here without you all💛

Although we are still not done with shedding as Year of the Fire Horse doesn’t start till Feb 17th, I’m wishing you all a blessed and prosperous year filled with strength, peace, clarity, resilience, movement, passion and transformation! Happy New Year🐎🔥

I’m excited to announce that Man and Mattress will be premiering this Thursday, October 30th at Film Quest 2025!

Man and Mattress has been a labor of love! I spent years learning puppetry, cgi animation and nearly fried my brain making this crazy film. It’s an epic fantasy about moving on, with kung fu, monsters, and a talking mattress! It’s silly, dark, and heartfelt. I can’t wait to get this out in the world and I’m looking forward to sharing this film with all of you!

I consider myself lucky to have had so many wonderful collaborators who have helped bring this story to life. Thank you everyone who’s been a part of Man and Mattress! I’m thankful and looking forward to what’s ahead.
