💫 Glimpse from my @q_o2werkplaats x @tekhne_collab residency where I explored the evolution of a DJ’s performative and compositional practice, bringing turntablism and CDJism together. I researched & worked on giving it a sonic, graphic, choreographic, and even theoretical meaning through the evolution of transcription methods in CDJ exploring. But most importantly, I focused on bringing the DJ’s machines to the forefront as instruments, through improvisation and solo or collective jamming sessions.

Thanks to the QO2 team for the trust, and to everyone invited to participate, as well as those who were curious to witness the beginnings of my research. I hope to have the time and opportunity to do this again in the near future, when the moment feels right.
