I was pretty clear when I said I’ve had enough of sh!t behaviour when our kids play.

It doesn’t matter what sport it is, the experience is the same - the select few acting like idiots ruins it for too many.

So, today, I’ve launched a new campaign to support clubs all across our state to send one clear message - pull your head in.

Our words and our actions matter. Young people are impressionable. Is this the standard we want to set?

I say no, and I hope you do too.

Tag your club - there’s materials prepared to support them call this behaviour out, I’ll put the link to order in the comments 👇

From the Lightning Academy to the 2026/27 WNBL roster! ⚡🏀

An exciting opportunity for Abbey Jones, who was presented with her Adelaide Lightning singlet at the club’s season launch. 💜

At last week’s media conference, I asked Abbey about the Academy squad’s six weeks of preparation ahead of their curtain-raiser against Japan’s Hitachi High-Tech Cougars.

Her excitement was clear, and with footage from the Townsville Tip-Off showcasing her on court, it’s a great opportunity to celebrate another emerging player making her mark.

Love seeing pathways creating opportunities for the next generation of women’s basketball talent. 💜

Aussie Alex Dickeson ‘bout to work 😤

High praise from @cubuffsmbb coach Tad Boyle on Aussie freshman and @basketballauscoe product Alex Dickeson saying the South Australian is the best passing guard he’s seen in his 38 years of coaching.

The college hoops world about to find out about one of Australia’s top young prospects.

From the court to the front office! 🏀⚡️

With the Adelaide Lightning officially launching their 2026/27 season last night, there’s a familiar face embracing a new role.

Since stepping away from playing, Tess Madgen has tried her hand at a few different opportunities within basketball. Now she’s taking on a new challenge as General Manager of the Adelaide Lightning.

🎙️ At last week’s press conference, I asked Tess how she’s finding the transition and settling into her new role.

The Adelaide Lightning are fortunate to have someone with Tess’s experience, passion and knowledge of the game helping shape the club’s future beyond her playing career. 💜
