When did you first realise Vybz Kartel was a musical genius? 💡

This record is from 2002, the year he got his first hit with New Millennium alongside Wayne Marshall 🎯

I remember seeing a video of him voicing this on YouTube a few years later and being blown away by his flow and the way he rode the riddim 🤯🔥

I’ve been looking for that video ever since, but I can’t find it 😭

I’m sure he was in the booth at @doncorleonie's studio, but I may have misremembered or imagined it 💭🧐

Anyway, this is an incredible vocal from Kartel, his staccato delivery perfectly complementing the riddim - which was produced by Top Notch, Famous, and Niceness out of Sweden and released by KBC Music from Stockhom 🇸🇪

I have a feeling @millionstylez_ may be able to shed some light on the backstory here as he was part of Top Notch in 2002 👀
