“Ever After” by @sqwerv: Live from the Greenhouse 🏡🍃

The Denver quartet brings together psychedelic rock, deep funk grooves, and soulful melodies, with a sound that’s as much about the interplay between its four members as the songs themselves. Rich guitar textures and a driving rhythm section give their music room to wander while keeping the groove at its center.

In town for their Brooklyn headline show this past summer, the band brought a little Colorado spirit to the Greenhouse, laying down an incredible set that we’re excited to share.

Full performance coming soon!

🥁🎸 CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF PREGAME VOL. 1 (THE BEATTAPE)
@darujones x @officialmarcusmachado aka D.Stubs & M.Drix

2016 → 2026. A decade later, and the music still speaks. 🙏🏾❤️

This project was born out of musical chemistry, creativity, and life on the road.

Back in 2016, Marcus Machado and I were performing together in The Royal Pharaohs, @jamie_lidell touring band, which I musically directed. While out on the road, Marcus and I connected through our shared love of music and created this beat tape as a way to pay homage to the artists, sounds, and musical giants who inspired us.

Featuring live instrumentation and our own interpretations of timeless music, Pregame Vol. 1 became a special moment in our musical journey. 🎶🎧👉🏽 Darujones . @bandcamp . com

Ten years later, I’m reflecting with gratitude and giving flowers to everyone who contributed their talent, creativity, and energy to this project. This was bigger than just making music it was about collaboration, inspiration, and paying respect to the culture. 🙏🏾

MUCH LOVE & RESPECT TO ALL THE CONTRIBUTORS:

To Marcus, every musician, every DJ, and everyone who has supported this project over the years , thank you. Ten years later, the love and respect remain the same.

10 YEARS DEEP. STILL GRATEFUL. STILL CREATING. STILL PAYING HOMAGE.

BEST OF FOUR — EPISODE 006 💔🎶

Some breakup songs are records.

Others become memories.

One note comes on and suddenly you remember the relationship, the heartbreak, the person… sometimes even exactly where you were when you first heard it.

My Top 4:

🥇 Usher — Burn
🥈 Mary J. Blige — Not Gon’ Cry
🥉 Toni Braxton — Un-Break My Heart
4️⃣ Beyoncé — Irreplaceable

This was HARD.

Toni gave us pure heartbreak.
Beyoncé gave us self-respect after heartbreak.
Mary gave us the pain of realizing how much of yourself you gave away.

But Burn?

There’s something different about loving somebody and still realizing the relationship has to end.

Sometimes nobody cheated.
Nobody necessarily stopped loving.
You just know…

you gotta let it burn. 🔥

That’s why Usher gets my #1.

But this is barbershop talk — there are no wrong answers.

👇🏾 Drop YOUR Top 4.

And most importantly:

What breakup song did I leave out?

THE CULTURE DECIDES.
