Our first @qaldance pride month in Philly was amazing!

We had the pleasure of working with @cinespeak for their Under the Stars Film Festival Series and host our very own Pride at @mercadolatino.fdr with @thexiomaravilla and @batalaphilly!

Happy Pride. We are meant to take up space and have fun doing it! 🏳️‍🌈❤️✨ Stay tuned for more events this summer!

P.S. check out the audio attached and follow @mariquitas.band, NYC’s Queer and Trans Salsa Band for some amazing music!

Only took us 10 years to play together… no big deal. 🥁✨
At long last, Fogo Azul and Batala shared the street, the rhythm, and the joy of the NYC Dyke March. Two drumlines with shared roots, one unforgettable moment, and enough energy to make us wonder why we ever waited this long. batalanewyork
Here’s to finally making it happen. ❤️💙🏳️‍🌈
