So much talent, so many incredible coaches. I physically wasn’t able to ride with them all but the inspiration is there.

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible and thank you to @psyclelondon for being a space that makes all of this possible.

I love this community

One of the best experiences when visiting Kotor is taking Kotor’s Cable Car and riding on the Alpine Coaster at the top 😍

Flying down Lovćen’s National Park slopes at an altitude of 1,348m with views over the Bay of Kotor was such a fun and incredible experience and a real highlight of our trip 🫶🏻

Tips for your visit:
- Grab a taxi or the seasonal shuttle from Kotor Old Town to Dub Station (10–15 minutes). Both are overpriced (€10 shuttle / €20 taxi each way), but if you’re in a group a taxi usually works out cheaper. There were 3 of us so this is what we did.
- @kotorcablecar.me tickets are €23 return in summer and €14 in low season. The Alpine Coaster is €8, or €14 for the fast track, which is worth it if you want to ride at sunset.
- Visit in the afternoon for the best light and shorter queues. Skip sunset on the coaster (it’s the busiest time) and enjoy golden hour from the viewing deck with a drink instead.
- Use a wrist strap for your phone, the views are incredible, but the turns are sharp.
- The ride lasts around 6–7 minutes depending on how fast you go and how much you brake (you control the speed).
- Check the weather before booking and choose the clearest, brightest day of your trip. The top can sometimes be cloudy, if visibility isn’t great, hang around for 20–30 minutes, and it often clears quickly.
- Bring a light layer as it gets chilly and windy at the top, even on warm days.

Would you ride the Kotor alpine coaster? 🎢
