Yesterday was truly special. 🎀 🙏🏾

As we kicked off breast cancer awareness month at my home church, Brown Missionary Baptist Church @brownbaptist ,I had the opportunity to share a little of my testimony, and remind someone that God is still a healer!
As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand what God can do. Today, I’m standing at the same Faith for my sister as she fights stage 3 ovarian cancer.
The same God that healed me is able to heal her.
💜🙏🏾
It was also such a blessing to share my rendition of a classic produced by my son, @thetankbass and rearranged by my daughter, @madam.franklin .
Here’s a little snippet from yesterday.

I invited the Brown Baptist Praise Team to hang out and collab with me for the closing worship set at @gather.women conference and they graciously accepted…but what happened in those two songs—without so much as a rehearsal or run-through—was nothing short of anointed. 🥹

I loved the whole experience but more than anything, I enjoyed the opportunity to minister to the ladies of Gather in a new, diverse, unified, freeing way!

I’ve learned soooo much as it pertains to wearing the “Producer” hat , & the responsibilities that come with a task that heavy.

It takes vision, true intention, discipline, & a very good Team! & more ofc lol

I can truly say that this has been a very interesting yet , fun journey & I absolutely CANNOT wait to share the fruit from this record with the world!

My whole show was my favorite but this part of the show was definitely my favorite! I had my girls @adajyo with me that I’ve been knowing since I was kid. And of course my big cousin Britne been knowing me since I was baby. It was truly special having them apart of this🔥
