‘(I’m Not) Napoleon’ is out all over the shop ✌️I’ve had some mad hallucinatory feverdream turbo flu of late; only just resurfacing for air now. thanks for ur nice words about the tune (link in bio) this is the last single before I drop the ep, then I’m roasting something far more long form and meandering . the sunniest days in the winter are often the coldest, always be kind✌️#newmusic #singersongwriters #folkmusic

Introducing our headline act for this Saturday 2nd September: @boroughcouncil_

Borough Council are an incredible new band from Hastings, East Sussex, who have already drawn praise from distinguished voices in our culture such as @spectator1828, who gave a glowing review of a recent live show, and @steve_lamacq, who played their debut single on his 6 Music show.

That single, 'Prescribed' (which was released through @bathhouserecordlabel), was accompanied by a fantastic video, directed by @benjaminpiercefilm which portrayed the subtle magic of frontman Haydn Ackerley's performative charisma in its full glory.

Live, the band are blistering and impassioned. Make sure you don't miss their headline set next Saturday 2nd September @thecavendisharmsstockwell.

It's free entry. Doors at 7pm. No ticket required
