Cheeky little upcoming post to summarise bits and bobs in the next couple of months!
Really enjoying getting to know Frasquita & Eurydice (two very different but very fun girlies) with lots of concert prep and planning on the side 💃

🌸 this week brings a concert with great pals @eleanorwoodssoprano @hellatermeulen & @johnrhyslidd_baritone at Beulah URC accompanied by James Southall, featuring lots of operatic ensembles, arias and songs (bangers)

🌸 Carmen @bathopera is taking shape and is selling quickly! Having the best time rehearsing with some great pals @imogenmargot_ @bethanevanssoprano @howang.yuen_bari and really looking forward to the shows in Feb

🌸 SO beyond excited to be performing the role of Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld, as a part of the David Seligman Opera School in April directed by @matthew.eberhardt and conducted by David Jones (AMD. @bethfitz_conductor)

🌸 singing a Brahms’ Requiem with the Warwickshire Singers lead by @jim_b8 - is just the most gorgeous music!!

🌸 then rounding off April with devising a varied operatic programme with @jacobpj_music for the audience to enjoy alongside their dins 🍽️

Just one week to go until our first ever night at the opera! We are thrilled to be the final stop on @bathopera 's summer tour with Verdi's epic La Traviata.
🎭💃🏾If you've never been to the opera before, this is the perfect opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. In the relaxed and intimate setting of @horningshamvillagehall , this experienced opera company are bringing together amazing professional singers to tell the tragic tale of Violetta and her doomed love affair with Alfredo. Updated into a contemporary context, we expect the production to be both accessible and deeply moving. Have a read of this review from one of the early performances in Wincanton!
🍻🍾🍷🥂There will also a bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks - with the proceeds going to the Village Hall regeneration fund, so please join us in supporting both local artists and the Village Hall itself!
