This week has been absolutely insane, and getting to put on Wolfgang Finds the Perfect Tooth is essentially a dream come true for me. I can't believe how many of you guys showed up. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

I know for me and Joe, this was the most work we've ever put into any artistic project. Or literally anything period.

I am so grateful to everyone who showed up, or those that couldn't and supported us regardless. But I'm even more grateful for Jake and Billy with @bagelbobproductions for making the full production a reality. Joe and I did an extremely shitty version of the musical at @trent.triola's house on Halloween two years ago, and had it not been for Bagelbob, that Halloween party script-read would have been it.

I write a bunch of silly and ocassionally great bullshit all the time, and the only way that stuff ever actually gets seen or heard is through the help of a ton of other people that don't get the attention they deserve.

If @hedgiedog didn't do a great job with blocking us then you would have thought the show was worse. If @erwinjake hadn't made that incredible green screen system then you would have thought the show was worse. If @billfranmeister hadn't punched the script up to be a hundred times funnier then you would have thought the show was worse. If @baileyeburns hadn't done an amazing job with the costumes then you would have thought the show was worse.

And the sound guy and the lighting and the marketing and the venue and the props... the amount of effort it takes from people who don't get praised for it is ridiculous. And then there's the actors and musicians too of course, who all did an incredible job.

It takes so much vanity to write a thing about a magic tooth and then expect THAT many people to be down to help you with it, and somehow it PAID OFF???

I am extremely grateful to all of them for making my musical more than I ever thought it would become. There is no way to say "you made my dream come true" without sounding insincere, but you genuinely did.

You don’t have to be a dental professional (or even like one) to love our play WOLFGANG FINDS THE PERFECT TOOTH 🦷 An absurdist emo experimental theater road trip through hell.

One night only! 10/17/26 @centrestagesc in Greenville, SC 🦷 Tickets $22 @ theperfecttooth.com

The gist: a routine dental procedure goes sideways when the Dentist discovers a mythical wish-granting tooth inside the mouth of his most unremarkable Patient. But he’s not the only one who wants it. A vengeful Wolfman is already waiting in the lobby, and he’s not here for a cleaning.

What follows is a grenade explosion, a journey through Hell, a musical duel with a demon, a trial before a jury of audience members, a love story between a Dentist and an ancient Hag, and a reunion neither the Wolfman nor the Hygienist saw coming. All set to original songs that are sure to have you asking, “What?”.

Wolfgang Finds the Perfect Tooth is a live-band musical about revenge, redemption, and the lengths we’ll go to for the people we love. Even if those people are supernatural beings who haunt children and the elderly.

It’ll make sense when you’re there, we promise. creepy antique dental tools in a flyer about a play about an evil dentist and the perfect tooth
