Continuing my visual journey through the heart of Jalandhar 🌿
Here’s a hidden gem—Government High School, Rainak Bazar, standing strong since 1960.
Often unnoticed, slightly forgotten, yet full of stories etched in its walls.
A piece of our city’s soul, captured in watercolor.

Let’s not forget the beauty that surrounds us, even if time tries to.

Preserving memories, one brushstroke at a time.✨
This artwork is part of a heartfelt series I started after discovering @batmankafan ‘s amazing photography that beautifully captures the lesser-known corners of old Jalandhar.🏡
Being an artist with deep love for forgotten architecture and fading stories, I reached out to him for permission to use some of his clicks as inspiration — and that’s how this journey began. 🚶‍♀️

Here is the Government High School, Rainak Bazar — a functioning institution quietly standing amidst the chaos of the city, yet barely noticed by many.
It holds not just bricks and arches, but generations of stories, students, and silent heritage.✨
Through my art, I hope to bring attention to such living landmarks that deserve to be seen, remembered, and respected.

🖌️ Not lost, not gone — just waiting to be noticed again.

✨ Heritage on Paper ✨
Continuing my love for my city, I had the privilege to paint Imam-e-Nasir, one of North India’s oldest mosques – almost 800 years old and still standing with unmatched grace in the heart of Jalandhar.
Nestled in the old market, it gives a nostalgic vibe similar to Old Delhi, with its intricate details, arches, and calligraphy that speak of timeless artistry.

This piece was one of the most challenging yet deeply satisfying paintings I’ve ever created. Every brushstroke felt like a conversation with history. 🎨
Here’s to preserving heritage through art. ❤️

👉 Tell me in the comments – Have you ever visited this gem of Jalandhar? Or which heritage site in your city deserves to be painted next?

🌆 Jalandhar in My Heart ❤️

When I set out to paint my city, this iconic landmark—the Doordarshan TV tower was among my top picks. A place etched in the memories of so many, it’s not just a building, but a symbol of old Jalandhar, our shared heritage, and our pride.

This pen and wash painting is my way of cherishing and preserving the soul of my hometown, capturing the beauty of what still remains of the old city. I believe it’s so important to remember, celebrate, and protect these stories.

✨ Let’s keep our heritage alive together—share this with friends, family, and anyone who loves Jalandhar. Let’s make sure we never forget the charm of the place we call home.

💬 What’s your favorite memory of old Jalandhar? Tell me in the comments!

28✨ | Stronger, loved, and so grateful 💛

Started the day just like any other—with a workout and my favorite kind of hustle. But little did I know, the day was going to unfold with so many surprises that my heart is still full 💫

💪 Hit a personal best with a 40kg deadlift while my gym fam cheered me on (and brought cake 🎂 🥹)
☕ Walked into a cafe to just grab coffee but got ambushed with hugs, love, breakfast, and a surprise celebration by my friends
🎁 Came home to open the sweetest gifts—including ones sent from miles away
🍰 Went out for a second coffee only to be gifted a birthday slice
🌊 Ended the day with a pool party surrounded by my students, laughter, more cake, and thoughtful little surprises
💃 And the love carried into the next day too—because why celebrate for just one day, right?

To everyone who made me feel seen, celebrated, and so deeply appreciated—thank you from the bottom of my heart. 28 feels beautiful already.

Designing the Chai Carvaan ☕ ( @chaicarvaan ) space was a creatively fulfilling experience.☕🤎

" A khopcha of Nostalgia " ✨

From the initial rough sketches to the final cozy nook, this project perfectly captured the spirit of street-side chai culture with a touch of old-school nostalgia.🤎

Every corner, every line, every element reflects the essence of gathering over chai – a place where conversations brew and memories are made.🫶🏻

Proudly designed by @Desipun1 – where we pour our heart into every design.🤍

P.s thankyou @fidgetyfeet_ for all the support & guidence! 😊
