Crazy last three weekends with lots of my very best friends and fam doing some great things

Weekend one - Green Man: best place on earth with some of the goats of my life. Will go there till I die I hope

Weekend two - played with my boy @thedeclanmckenna at Reading and Leeds, crazy life experience - what a guy and what a few gigs. Then watching my bezzie @grianwhitegold play with the best band in the world @fontainesband as they HEADLINED the bloody things - and frickin Electric Picnic as well - they can’t be stopped and no one should try

Weekend three - Headline the Garden stage at the always insanely epic @endoftheroad with my pride and joy @carolinetheband - insanely proud of us - was a really special moment for the band. Also spent amazing times with best mates and crowd surfed like 4 times on Sunday night, proud of myself for that too

All round a pretty amazing time, quite hard to enjoy life atm living while there is a genocide and a climate crisis happening as well as many other horrifying things but it’s nice to remember that good people exist in abundance and I’m lucky to live amongst so many of them.

33 and me! It’s my bday today so here’s a lil dump of recentish special things. Nothing to report apart from I try to eat a kiwi every day now because apparently they have retinol in them? Thinking about friendship and love and grief and the future and also the right now. Grateful to have so many people in my life who makes me feel loved and inspired.

Thinking about 10 years ago (!) when I was 23 (and Olivia Rodrigo was 13) and David Bowie and Prince died and Leicester won the premier league and the uk voted for Brexit and Trump came into power. Hoping that in 10 years time when I’m 43 the world isn’t burning and we aren’t governed by racists and of course that Arsenal are still champions of England❣️

Thank you @gjgjgjgjgjgjgj_gjgjgjgjgjgj for the foreword which says it best x

We went to the Oliviers as nominees 🥹 I actually thought we might win for a moment because we were sat directly behind the two best actress winners but it turns out seating plans don’t work like that. It did mean we were on telly a lot, particularly Campbell hahaha. It was so fun and special and I cried during some of the speeches and performances (half from being moved and half because of how much I needed a wee).

We felt so proud to be there and to be nominated. Big up theatre and all the luvvies of which I think I’m one!
