#LEAPYEAR update - thank you guys for listening to LEAP YEAR (366) also known as ‘songs 2 drive 2’ - I deeped I never actually wrote a long message for it.

As you can tell, LEAP YEAR 366 is a follow up from my previous EP ‘365’, an expansion with electronic dance music; I started venturing into other genres/styles, like r&b, pop & drum n bass/jungle, while still wanting to keep my electronic sound and also have that video game style that I love to associate with. Electronic dance music is so important to me & it’s very important to the music scene and i hope i was able to at least contribute to it. My love for cars & racing is still heavy in the project’s theme, hence why I imagine these being songs ‘2 drive 2’… safely. LEAP YEAR is also an expansion on the AshZone world, being a bit more imaginative with the cartoon/visual side of it, designed to symbolise the development of myself as a (purple) human & music artist - even going as far as to reference my older projects such as ‘NIGHTINGALE’. Even though I was dealing with a heavy musician’s block that lasted me more than a year, it was still a fun project to make & a fun concept to follow so I appreciate everyone who tapped in to listen & everyone who helped out with the project. I’m well aware I’m not an easy artist to work with, close friends/family and supporting artists have seen me at my worst/lowest during the development of this project so I appreciate all the artists involved & my team/label for being extremely patient with me. Also huge love to everyone who turned up to both my UK listening party & the discord one, I was very nervous as it was my very first event but you guys made me comfortable. I hope you all are still listening to the EP & again, I appreciate the support, here is LEAP YEAR. 💜
