This Is What Community Looks Like 700+ Kids, Free Haircuts & Backpacks at the Voices of Change Back to School Bash🔥📚✏️ Elizabethtown showed up for the 5th Annual Voices of Change Back to School Bash, and SSDTV Network correspondent Dierra Mollison was on the ground to capture it all. At the center of it all was founder Victor Cox Jr. a local barber, born and raised in E-Town who turned a neighborhood idea into a movement that gave out upwards of 700 backpacks this year alone. “Just be somebody positive. Something good for the kids to look forward to,” he said. Jordan Richardson, a community member who has attended all five years, said the event now brings together people of all races and backgrounds like a reunion. Volunteers Whitney and Katie, both Elizabethtown women who’ve been there since year one, described watching it grow from a small group doing hair and braids into a full-scale operation with dozens of barbers, braiders, and donors showing up every year. The venue was packed with Black and White families, toddlers, teens, and parents of all backgrounds. The Lincoln Trail District Health Department, Total Wellness Center rep Amira, and military veteran and children’s book author India Anderson all had vendor tables. First-time attendee Melody, a local mom, called it “an awesome program” with a real need in the area. Young attendees Elijah and Legend said the free supplies and basketball games made it their favorite day. Victor’s cousin Gabriel said his favorite moment is watching kids arrive with zero confidence and leave with a fresh cut and a brand-new attitude. Victor’s message for the future? “The ceiling is the sky. There’s no ceiling no more.” The 6th Annual is already confirmed and it’s only going up from here.

The moment we leave a beautiful place, the beauty lingers with us. I would like to take this moment to extend both my gratitude and appreciation for the support that I have received as a radical man of faith. The journey standing against paganistic traditions in Judeo-Christian faith has not been easy. However, it is soon time to launch a live broadcast about the Purpose Crusade. John 15:8 affirms that “The fruit we produce brings great joy to God, our Father in Heaven.” https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZPXmlH_DU7w11BY2ImChdw?sub_confirmation=1 #1SP #Time4ACrusade #Its2Easy #ImNotTellingYouAnythingYouDontAlreadyKno #LetsGetIt
