Q&A Spotlight: E-CURB System® by Chemlink

One of the most common questions we hear is: How long does the E-CURB System® take to cure?

The answer depends on site conditions such as temperature, humidity, and weather exposure. Like any sealant-based waterproofing solution, allowing sufficient cure time is essential to achieving optimal performance and long-term durability.

The advantage of the E-CURB System® is that it provides a simple, reliable solution for sealing rooftop penetrations while minimizing the complexity of traditional detailing methods. When installed correctly and allowed to cure as specified, it delivers a robust, watertight seal designed to stand the test of time.

💡 Always follow the recommended installation guidelines and cure requirements for best results.

It’s not what you’ve done, it’s what you can prove. That’s why @suresealwaterproofingqld used complibuild to connect the Bayset spec to the system.

It means Bayset can see the entirety of the product installed, to the conditions and outcomes. Not just what the reps see periodically on site. That’s how you earn trust.

Most manufacturers see what their tech rep sees. Not the substrate prep. Not the membrane application. Not the full story.

@bayset_aus saw the gap and did something about it.

Training with their team this week on how to document the complete install narrative. Every stage tied to their spec. Every moment captured.

That’s the partnership that works.

Who’s on the demo stage in Brisbane? Swipe through.

This year was the first time we put our demo partners on a stage, so they could show their systems going in instead of talking about them. Eight live demonstrations, from basements and tanking to membrane testing and tiled surfaces.

Our last show for 2026.

Friday 9 October | BCEC, Grey Street
