O U T R U N T H E W A L L
We put 3 running crews together to run 160kms, and finish one lap around the Berliner Mauerweg, from sunrise to sunset.
The result was a perfect summer solstice 🌞🌿🎐 In the middle of nowhere, pushing each other, coordinating cars, snack-pick-ups, ice cream delivery and bike supporters.

Berlin Marathon recap 🏅🇩🇪

First things first, I think it’s finally starting to sink in?

Second thing, wow. 1 word, and that’s “magic”.
Marathon’s are never easy nor comfortable, but all of that didn’t matter here.
This was an exception to all of it, which consisted of smiles and goosebumps from start to finish. All that doubt, uncertainty, nervousness (and chasing legs from Berghain & Co.) all disappeared in an instant.
Racing is always good and getting that target race time are good goals, regardless of the distance, but what should trump all of that is soaking up all the vibes on race day. I could go on forever about this, but appreciating the moment is always more important than being upset at your aching body during a run. Never forget your why 🖤

From the support and training runs with AR Joburg (@runnerssouthafrica), to the new friends made from around the world, the special people that I shared the first few and last few kilometres with, the dj’s, the crowds which didn’t stop cheering from 0.0km to 42.195km, to friends and family who never stopped supporting, and to the AR family from all over the world and many more!

This magic is only made possible by all of you.
Until the next one, ciao Berlin 💖🏢

Summer break is almost over, and we’ll be back soon with more tasty runs.
Can’t wait to see you all again! 🥐

Thank you @reneemadison97 and @jorisfelix_ for capturing all those delicious moments!

Hadi & Anabell 💙🧡
Hadi is wearing our Sunray Suit. What makes this suit so special is the fact that it is completely made out of second-hand material. It was given away because the fabric had little damages. So it was quite a challenge to place our pattern pieces, that none of this mistakes will end up in the final suit. But we definitely wanted to give it a try, because we didn’t want to waste such a delicate material with its beautiful color.

We managed to cut around the damages and as a result we got this stunning set🧡

Anabell is wearing a dress which was completely handknitted in our studio. We used extra thick needles to get this transparent and light but still fluffy and cozy structure. We love it so much because it weights nothing when wearing and is not only a summer dress but also perfect for colder seasons, when wearing a longsleeve and pants underneath. Check out one of our older posts, there you can see how our founders Anaëlle and Charlotte wore it in Winter. 💙

@bazohadi in our "Insomnia" Blazer 🧡

This piece is the most unique one we ever made, because it’s not made out of plain “normal” fabric. It’s made of a mix of deadstock, second hand materials and leftovers. The challenge was to place all the organic shapes that the pattern works out. With this fabric and pattern constellation, it’s a piece that only exist ones 💙
