Happy #FriendshipFriday 💜

Today, we celebrate our incredible faculty advisor, Dr. Kappel! With a decade of dedication to Best Buddies at IUP, her commitment to fostering friendships and supporting our chapter has been nothing short of inspiring.

Thanks to her leadership, IUP continuously achieves five-star chapter status and even earned Chapter of the Year at last year’s Friendship Walk! Dr. Kappel’s impact extends beyond our current members—she’s helped former students become advisors themselves, spreading the spirit of friendship far and wide.

In her own words, “Working with Best Buddies at IUP over the last ten years has been one of the most amazing things I have ever done. It has taught me the true value of friendship and has expanded my heart a million times. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing the friendships that have developed between the members of our chapter and their buddies.”

Thank you, Dr. Kappel, for your unwavering support and for showing us the true meaning of friendship. We are forever grateful for all that you do! Congrats on ten years! 💜💜
