POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On Sunday, June 28, NOH Extended welcomes two artists operating at the edges of experimental electronics and contemporary club music.

Birol is a DJ, producer, and the driving force behind Paradoxe Club, a Paris-based label dedicated to adventurous club music. His sound is built on pressure-heavy bass, tight rhythmic work, and stripped electronic design for club systems. With Paradoxe Club, he champions forward-facing artists and releases that thrive on intensity, experimentation, and a fearless approach to the dancefloor.

Kaan Işık is a Turkish composer and sound editor who is keen on working with experimental elements using droning sounds and razor sharp movements. His dj sets consists of an aural plethora including airy textures and complex broken drums.

He has played at Sonar Istanbul, Salt Beyoğlu, Berlin Arkaoda and many acclaimed venues. His album, released on Genot Centre in 2022 under the name Blank Wall Season. It was played on NTS, Lyl, and Kiosk radios; reviewed in Electronic Sound Magazine.
