Noʻeau Portraiture was created to capture more than what the eye can see. It’s about the mana, the passion, the moʻolelo that lives within you.

For us as Hawaiians, hula is so much more than movement. It is how we remember. How we express. How we honor our kūpuna, our ʻāina, and the stories passed from one generation to the next.

When I photograph hula, I take pride in capturing that connection—the strength in a stance, the intention of each gesture, the emotion that needs no words.

Because these aren’t simply portraits.

They are pieces of who we are.
Our ʻike. Our culture. Our moʻolelo.
This is my Noʻeau.

Story time!

When I saw the Original Broadway production of Mean Girls, April 20th, 2018, I fell in LOVE. I thought the production was incredible. The songs were fun and creative, and they did an amazing job of retelling an updated version of the movie we have all come to know and love. Most importantly, however, I fell in love with Cady Heron. She was different to how we saw her in the movie. She was lovable, gigglier, a little nerdier, and totally relatable. Not only did @erikahenningsen do an amazing job vocally, but she portrayed Cady in a new light. From that moment on, I have wanted the opportunity to portray my version of Cady Heron. On that note… COME SEE ME AS CADY HERON IN MEAN GIRLS, THIS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH @2PM!!! TICKET LINK IS IN MY BIO!!💖✨
