Listen back to Ryan on the radio! 📻

Writer and Director Ryan Simons spoke to Akylah Rodriguez on @bbcessex about The Void's visit to @mercurytheatrecolchester. Tune in to hear what terrified Ryan as a kid, creating scares on stage, and what draws audiences to horror.

"It's almost like eating chillies - we know it's going to burn a bit, but we still do it. I think there's something about being scared that we all need in our lives."

Listen from 09:58 via the link in our story!

Car thieves get distracted by the car owner and run off, only to return a few seconds later, armed and angry!

Another example of why the fines and prosecutions need to go! Parents fined for a "holiday" when the child's Dad has end stage kidney disease.

Stop judging, and start looking at the context behind it. These fines and prosecutions affect ALL families.

Giant Pumpkin on display to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance 🚁🎃

After a 400-mile round trip to the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetable Championships, Gladys is back home!

She took 2nd place, weighing an impressive 1,307lb (593kg), and also won the Howard Dill Award for the best looking pumpkin! 🏆

Gladys is now on display outside our home in the run-up to Halloween, helping raise money for the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.

Last time we displayed our pumpkins at our previous home, the local community raised an incredible £1,100! We'd love to do it again.

A massive thank you to everyone who's followed, supported and cheered me on throughout this season with Gladys. It genuinely means more than you know. 🥲 It might have been me growing her, but it feels like we've all grown Gladys together. 💪🎃

If you want to make a small donation, I will put a link to the just giving page 💪

Enjoy, have fun... and have a great Halloween 👻...

Best Wishes

Ben & Dana x
