🎃🍂 Pumpkins, sunshine & a little autumn magic! ✨

What a lovely day out at @riverhillhimalayangardens! ☀️ The gardens looked absolutely stunning in the sunshine, and my little one had the best time exploring the pumpkin trail, finding all the pumpkins along the way! 🎃🍁

Our favourite part? The Pumpkin Grotto, where we carved our very first pumpkin together! 🧡 You can BYO pumpkin or buy one for just £3.50 and carve it inside! Can you guess what we created? 👀🎃

📍 Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, Sevenoaks, Kent

🍁 Pumpkin Festival running until 1st November!

This earth is full of extraordinary little beings, and I feel so lucky to be able to celebrate them in my own way. ✨

Just a little appreciation post for all the creatures, great and small, that make this world a more magical place to be. 🐛🦋🤎

Tell me, what’s your favourite creature on this earth?🌎

Wednesday morning 7.30am swim at Deal. After sitting out yesterday because of the
tempestuous seas, conditions this morning were slightly better. But only slightly. Winds still in the east, and gusting over 30mph, and the seas still a little lively. But after a careful assessment, Lady Godiva and I waded in and enjoyed a short invigorating swim, lashed by the wind, the rain, and the spray. If it did nothing else it certainly woke you up.

Thence home to indulge in a hot bath listening to BBC Radio 4 Extra, an indulgence that will soon come to be a thing of the past as a result of the panjandrums at the BBC deciding to axe the service. The radio station that is. Not my bath. But they will of course, continue to pump our licence fees into myriad mind numbing pieces of televisual drivel that pander to the lowest common denominator. And thus does the cultural climate of the nation continue to cool.

One is reminded of the words of playwright Arthur Miller (when he was able to wriggle out from underneath Marilyn Monroe):

“Don’t be seduced into thinking that that which does not make a profit is without value.”
