This could be my fav transformation YET 🤝

My client had over processed, yellow grown out bleach, and left a gorgeous beige/sandy blonde - PLUS she still had her hair in tact 🤏

My secret weapon? COLOUR RELEASER

If your putting toners on and wondering why your clients root colour is changing and coming out warm, it’s because your using a peroxide that is too strong. Colour releaser is designed not to change or lift any natural hair, making it perfect for tone on tone colouring 💘

Here’s the breakdown of what I done ⬇️

Scattered some very fine baby lites around the hairline. Only lifting the root. The ends was already light enough (just the wrong tone)

Then once my highlights was around 10 mins from being finished, I went in with 2 colours mixed with colour releaser.

First colour 10/21 in @bbcos_international
Second colour 8/01 also @bbcos_international

This is where i personally think bigger is better. If you weave your lowlites too small, they get lost in the hair and can make it look murky. For maximum dimension, I like to use thicker weaves when adding a lowlite.

The new babylites I added I used my holy grail @wellaprofessionalsuki 9/60 in the illumina range, also mixed with colour releaser to tone at the end when rinsing 🪄

Finished with a wave using @ghdhairpro creative curl wand 💘
