Boynton Beach is making its mark on the culinary scene. Nicholson Muir, located in downtown Boynton Beach, has been recognized as a MICHELIN Recommended restaurant in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, marking its second consecutive year of recognition. Commissioners Angela Cruz and Aimee Kelley, along with the City’s Economic Development team, recently joined Discover The Palm Beaches for the MICHELIN Guide Restaurant Plaques Presentation Ceremony to celebrate Nicholson Muir as it received its official plaque. Located at 480 E. Ocean Avenue, Nicholson Muir is known for its distinctive steakhouse experience, blending Argentine live-fire cooking with Italian culinary tradition. Congratulations to Chef James Muir and the entire Nicholson Muir team on this outstanding achievement and for continuing to represent Boynton Beach’s growing culinary scene. #BoyntonBeach #MICHELINGuide #NicholsonMuir

On August 15, the West Palm Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program (WPEAP) launched its first Community Bootcamp for Entrepreneurs at the FSU West Palm Collaboration Space, bringing together local entrepreneurs working to turn challenges into opportunities. The opening session, "The Entrepreneurial Dream," was led by FSU Associate Professor Dr. Susana Santos. Participants also heard from Gigi Chazu, Director of Economic Development for the City of Boynton Beach, and connected with entrepreneur Madean Gilzene, CEO & Founder of Echelon Executive Suites, Aura Studios, and Madean Gilzene Global, and President of The Extraordinary Kids Foundation, Inc. The day closed with a networking lunch alongside Sandra Ruiz, Regional Director of Florida SBDC at FAU. Over the next six Saturdays, participants will build their entrepreneurial knowledge and connect with experts as they work toward sustainable businesses and stronger communities. Proud to launch this program in partnership with the University of Notre Dame's Urban Poverty and Business Initiative (@mckennacenter).

Y’all @cityofboyntonbeach knows how to bring businesses together! @bbecodev hosted their Annual Small Business Summit last Friday where gems 💎were dropped. More to come on that. Such a treat to see @nlcpalmbeach alum and City Commissioner @voteangelacruz highlighting the impact of small business in our city 👏 Sitting in that room, I was reminded of what @floridadigitalcenter always shares “you can’t be a local business without showing up locally!” There’s a different energy when you can feel the determination and motivation from those sitting next to you. #algomashr #boyntonbeachbusiness #fractionalhr #hrconsulting #palmbeachcounty
