Based at Paris’s Studio Sage, Mila blends her tattoo practice with a fine arts background at the Beaux-Arts de Cergy, working across sculpture, installation, and poetry. To her, poetry and narrative are the ultimate sources of inspiration, drawing heavily from cinema, surrealist painters like Dorothea Tanning and Leonora Carrington, and found, collected objects.

Mila’s style is driven by dynamic storytelling, treating designs like clues, riddles, or fables. Utilizing a meticulous greywash technique, she creates fine, transparent lines that seamlessly become one with the skin. Birds serve as a central symbol in her visual vocabulary rooted in ornithology, myth, and emotion, she uses their shapes to create airy, moving compositions that perfectly match the body’s natural flow.
