POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY 🖤✊🏾

Before the stages, the cameras, and the recognition, there was a culture teaching us to believe in ourselves.

From the streets to the cyphers, from battles to community movements Hip Hop has always been bigger than the art. It’s about identity, expression, knowledge, and unity.

Africa is evolving. Our stories deserve to be told by us, our culture preserved by us, and our future built by us.

We’ve come from somewhere. Where are we taking Hip Hop next? 🌍

Throw it back with us. Share a memory, a lesson, or a moment that shaped your journey.

📢 EVENT POSTPONED — WHO OWNS THE ARENA
Who Owns The Arena, scheduled for Friday 21st August, has been postponed to November 2026.
Two reasons: our attention is currently on the Futbol de Salon Summer Series, and we’d rather take the extra time to organise this one properly than rush it.
Exact dates will be announced soon. Same energy, bigger build-up. Thank you for the patience — the crown is still waiting. 👑

Honored to present the Hip Hop set with an incredible team on MATATA LIVE last night @masshouse_live it was an epic night!!Incredible lineup, incredible moments and incredible people…summed up by @matataofficial who delivered a spectacular showcase.

And off course what you see is the finished product! Some hard work put in by the dancers, live band and the artists themselves to bring out this vision. Also shows what could be achieved when performing artists aim to achieve something impactful with their presentation.Much respect to everyone who took part in this, was a pleasure working with you all 🙏🏿.
